The actuall original "Personal Jesus" was sung by the late Johnny Cash. And for those of you who don't believe me why don't you go and look it up on limewire.

The ONLY good thing about the Manson version is that it brought some great lyrics to different listeners. Other than that, he misses the point completely. I was interested (DM with a real drummer and not a drum machine and keyboard!!), but then I found his version so disappointing.
