Kashmir / Come With Me
What a cruel sample version by Puff Daddy! The great Led Zeppelin song "Kashmir" is totally foozeled by this strange rap version. The groaning and the "Yeah, Yeah" arias of Puff Daddy (or Puff Diddy, however he is named) worsen everything.
Why Jimmy Page, who has played the guitar in the cover version, too, played this song together with Puff Daddy, will always be a mystery for me.

Oh, and let's not forget the irreplaceable John Bonham.

Personally, I prefer Robert Plant's performance much more than Puff Daddy's. I mean, he actually sang. See, the beauty of Kashmir is that the middle eastern feel that the instrumental part creates blends perfectly with the lyrics, which is, obviously, about the middle east. Replacing those lyrics with things like "Pistol packing" and "uuh" is a crime against music. If you disagree, then I'm sorry you can't appreciate the song for more than just the beat.

Kashmir is a better song but ( and im not a puff daddy fan or something ) u gotta admit that he sings the song with so much anger it just gets your adrenaline pumping.

just an instrumental? as in just the duh duh duh, duh duh duh, duh duh duh, duh duh duh riff? cos that would be stupid. Or are you making a joke about puff diddy's musical talents

Previous comments sum it up. Does anybody with a less eratic 'net connection than mine want to post Puff Daddy's version of The Police/Sting hit "Every breath you take"?
