The only song by Marc Cohn, which became a great success in Germany. Marc Cohn performs this song like nobody else. Even Cher is not fit to hold the candle to him, but she is not far away from Cohn.

Please do not put down one artist so it sounds like praise for another artist. I enjoy both versions but if I had to pick one I would pick Cher's version. I just love her voice. I have never seen Marc live so maybe that would make a difference for me.

One of my all time Favourite Albums, Marc Cohn creats a masterpiece of mood, When I heard Cher covering this song well lets just say the performance of it was as plastic as she is. Wish People like Cher would stop tampering with the classics.

I saw marc cohn play this live, supporting bob dylan, and he rocked. Funny guy too. I don't know why cher would cover this song, I don't know why cher would do anything at all. Is she for real?
