I've listened to both versions of Maggie's Farm and just in my opinion I like Rage against the machine's cover version. Now i don't deny that Bob Dylan's wasn't any good, the lyrics had the ability to create depth and emotion into the song but he just didn't have the tone, That's what Rage had,they had a tone that could push the song beyond what Bob Dylan could do. But who's to say which songs better both Bob Dylan and Rage are artists so who are we to say whether which is better. Were not all song writers. All I can say is I like Rage Against the Machine's version. I'm not saying it's better and i'm not saying it sucks.

i personally luv both rage against the machine and Bob Dylan and i think both sogs are played in a different way so its hard to say which one is better
but both rage and Bob Dylan are great :D

OK, this is not the kind of song you make a cover of. It just isn't. It's not even that good in the first place, and the cover sounds even more ridiculous than the original. And I like Bob Dylan, I just don't like this song that much.

I hate anyone who likes the new version! They should learn to write there own songs, instead of stealing classics and massacring them. Dylan is God. RATM is complete anus.
