how the hell can anyone prefer a marilyn manson version of *anything* to the original, let alone a classic like 'tainted love'? and lets not start on the soft cell version.

There was me thinking Soft Cell was the original (I heard Mark Almond (?)on the radio saying they recorded that after partying all night, and they sounded really rough on the recording). It's actually the only M.Manson song I like. The original isn't my bag. But the singing is best on the original. Tough choice.

marilyn manson has done nothing good since 1998 and its arguable that he did anything decent that long ago. soft cell and gloria jones, now thats a harder decision.
