Nothing Else Matters
Mmmh, here we have really a brazen pop-singer - just my opinion.

Comments about Nothing Else Matters:
This song is so unique to Metallica that any cover of it would sound like a rip-off. It cannot be improved and no interpretation of it could ever work.

Y did she even cover that song? the only band who can ever do it right is Metallica...

Eh. It's allright. She has a good voice, but the way she chose to sing the song makes her sound like anybody's little sister back in 1991 singing "Nothing Else Matters" from their brother's tape in that overdramatised female-vocalist stereotypical cliche that children use.
Someone should have stopped her before this got to the studio and given her advice on how to make it more... heartfelt, maybe?

Metallica is my favorite band, but I have no problem with a singer/songwriter doing a piano version of their work. Having said that, I'm just not keen on her voice.

Lame cover! She should get back to her lame love songs aimed at 12 yo little girls!

Lucie Silvas did a pretty good job covering this historical piece of music, but, according to my pedecessors, I have to say, that there is nothing better than the original! Long live Metallica!

From my point of view every Cover Version MUST have its own charackteristics. Otherwise it doesn´t make sense to cover it at all. Ok, you can like it or not, but let the artists work and try their very best.
There are some other Cover Versions existing:
- Bif Naked:ok
- Martin Erman: Piano Version; nice try but not more
- Vienna Boys Choir (Wiener Sängerknaben): Together with Apocalypticas Cover, best I know.
- Apocalyptica: great
- Gregorian Men Choir:ok
...some more...?

Nothing Else Matters is a song that is, and will remain, a classic. It captures and represents emotions in a way that very musicians can - Metallica did it perfectly (especially on S&M). I havn't even heard the cover version, but I can't think of ANY artist that could do a better version of Nothing Else Matters than Metallica.

Why Metallica lets Lucie do that? - She didn't respect melody...she didn't respect the solo... The Apocalyptica's cover respects all those things about the songs... ¡Que los pijos se queden con su musica, sin versionar la nuestra!
