Wilson Picketts version is almost as poor as the Blues Brothers version. Solomon's wrote it and it is the definitive version no question.
Probably the most under rated soul singer of them all and still knocking them out!

So I would suggest that before you put the blues brothers, you actually listen to the solomon burke version. Notice that the blues brothers mention in the film solomon burke as someone who influenced them. No brainer, solomon burke wins.
