A little respect
"A little respect" is a nice song, but the problem is that the original version is way too gay. I mean, you can't sing this song to your girlfriend 'cause she'll think you're gay.
So, the Wheatus version is cool. It's a little punk, and you can sing it with no fear. My vote is with them.

Wheatus sucks. All their songs suck. The fact that they have to cover songs since they can't write any good songs of their own makes them suck even more so.

Of course Wheatus version will be better than Erasure, and Erasure will be better than Wheatus(I voted on the latter, sorry folks). Each are two different musical genres....that's like pitting a country version of a song to a metal version of a song. Think about it...and it doesn't make you sound gay if you sing Erasure songs to your girlfriend....chill out dude....you schtupping other men makes you sound gay....so keep singing them Erasure songs to your girlfriend, Dardo! ;0)

Wheatus' cover is one of the very very few cover versions that I like better than the original. Excellent!
And Wheatus and Weezer are two different bands, FFS.

The Wheatus version is obviously better. Only an Erasure fan could say otherwise. BTW 'Wheatus' were formerly 'Weezer' and had a huge hit with 'Teenage Dirtbag'.

ERASURE'S version is far better. Andy Bells voice is a million times better than Wheatus. As is V. Clarkes music. Remember it is an Erasure song & a classic at that. I remember it coming out in 1988. Erasure have had hit after hit sinse then, and are still going strong today with a 2007 World Tour. Where are Wheatus? Only famous for doing a cover of a classic Erasure tune.
