How anybody got the idea that Marilyn Manson could do ANY song properly is beyond me. We are talking about one of the most overrated "Artists" of all times. Also, has anyone noticed that all Manson seems to do anymore is covers?

I think that Marilyn Manson's version is an improvement to the song because he put a bit of his own personality in his version. Depeche Mode sound the same in all of their songs, and Marilyn Manson makes his songs sound so much better than the same tone of voice over and over again like Depeche Mode.

Please!, Depeche Mode then Cash then somewhere at the bottom, cowering under a dirty blanket of inadequacy Manson. Manson brought nothing to a great original. Cashs version was imho very nearly as good as the original.

How can Manson's version be up so high? The Depeche Mode version is a classic! And anyway, Marilyn Manson doesn't even sing. it's awful!

I used to love Manson, but I've always and still do love Depeche Mode. They are my rock. Although this is not my favourite song, nor my favourite album, it's still an amazing song. I would have loved a good Manson version, but this cover was so...bland?

I figure that someone should clear this up, Depeche Mode was the original artist, Limewire... Nevermind that. Johnny Cash However did COVER the song on his American IV: The Man Comes Around album.
