I agree with Kevin. Superior orchestration with the movie version, but no one on this planet can top the talent of Julie Covington. On a 10 out of 10 rating, she rates a 100 in my opinion. Listen to her beautiful voice on the original version (especially "Buenos Aires") and you will agree!

Julie does have a better vocal quality to her voice than Madonna, however, I do disagree that the original cast recording has the better overall album. The music on the motion picture version has much more depth & a richer sound than the original.
