To be honest I don´t know much about Primal Screams original version. What I know is that the song suits Rod Stewart very well. It sounds almost like an old song by Faces. Remember that Primal Scream in the beginning was very influenced by Stones and Faces. I love the song. My vote to Rod The Mod.

I must admit I have never heard of "Primal Scream" before, but when I was listening to the sample versions of their songs, I thought I was taken back in the music of the 70s - in deed very similar to the Rolling Stones. But I like it and I think the original version is better than Rod Stewarts cover.
