You'd expect Rammstein to have done the more powerful and chilling version, but DM did it in this case. For one thing Till doesn't emphasise the "down to the bone" bit as much as Dave and in one mix doesn't even bother singing it, and sonically it's a lot more plain than the mid 80s industrial-ish sounds of the Black Celebration album.

DM boys are just soo uncooked... Rammstein definetely has the edge, especially Till's great german accent!!

DM has the better sound it's their original song. Rammstein did a good job with this song, but you can't beat DM supreme vocal - Dave Gahan.

Sorry, but if all you've been listening to is Till Lindeman growl all the time you really need to get out more. I like some Rammstein songs, but those are songs written by/for Rammstein, in this case this was not written to be a Rammstein song. Depeche Mode has it.
