the amazing lambchop version proves impressively how good the song is in its own right, eventhough the original and otherwise magnificient sisters of mercy is awfully screwed by the ridiculoulsy bombastic production by meatloaf jim steinman.

OK, I voted for the SoM version because its healing hands burn better. It was a tough call, I bet even Mr. Eldritch prefers hearing the Lambchop version after the 20+ years of overplaying the original has been subjected to...

I like Lampchop, and this cover version is wonderfully slow & creepy...however, as this song is all about testosterone (it was Eldritch's final 'f**k you' to his former band mates) the cover version is slightly beside the point.
