Baba O'Riley (Teenage Wasteland)
Original version is inspired, cover is interesting and worthwhile, just not up to par with the original.

Comments about Baba O'Riley (Teenage Wasteland):
I started listening to the Waco Bro's version, and almost spit coffee all over myself. It would make a good start to a parody album.

Fuck 'Who the Fuck are the waco bros', they are one of the best contemporary bands and are one of the best ever live bands. SO lets not be an idiot and slag others off for having an opinion, especially if you have not heard of never mind heard the cover version. Both are good and if we overlook the authorship of the song (the whole point of the site) make it an almost impossible decision. But i think it has to go to the Who, as it is probably the best ever intro which is timeless and will never end.

Yes, you have to hear the Wacos live. They do a great version of "Revolution Blues" too.

Apples and oranges people. They're both fantastic, go see the Waco Brothers live and you'll understand why people love them.

One bad cover doesn't mean Pearl Jam sucks. but no hes right the Who are untouchable especially in their rock operas. Who's Next was originally a rock opera entitled Lifehouse but the project was aborted with only a few key tracks intact one being "Baba O'riley

I like Waco bros version better.

How could anybody even consider covering Baba O'Reilly? Inspired stuff from The Who, and this, along with a lot of their songs, is untouchable

Neil Young's Rockin' in the Free World wasn't even good to begin with.
