Annie Lenox's voice is haunting. Marilyn Manson's appearance is haunting. The original version holds up well while Manson's version is buried in all the other mediocre crap produced alongside it.

This is the only song I know from the Eurythmics and that is because Marilyn Manson covered it. The Eurythmics are just another pop band from the 80's that only survive from new artist covering their old music. The Eurythmics are just a fading memory of a dying generation.

Manson's version is better because it's instruments sound 100 times better than the Eurythmics version with it's mixture of synthesizer samples. In the original version the vocals are too monotone through out the whole song. In Marilyn Manson's he has added more range.
