Wonderwall
Both versions are great! It depends on the mood which one I prefer!
More melancolic-happy (Oasis) or more melancolic-sad (Ryan Adams).

Comments about Wonderwall:
Ryan Adams is at least 5 times more prolific than Oasis and his songwriting skills (musically at least) have much more depth and variety than Oasis, event though his lyrics can be trite or nonsensical at times. Ryan Adams takes a predictable song (in terms of chord structure and melody) and adds a haunting presence through revamped rhythm and melody. Ryan gets my vote easily.

Noel Gallagher wrote wonderwall... need i say much more(i will anyway), i really dont see the appeal of the ryan adams versions its boring, Noel Gallagher does base his live solo performances around but when you listen to it, he just moves the capo up to third fret, Oasis' version is so much better that there shouldnt even be a comparison.

When I heard Ryan Adams' version I thought, "He sounds like he wrote this." I think that answer is enough.

Oasis' ORIGINAL song is so far much better, I had to stop listening to Ryan's version, it kills the rock spirit.

I’ll admit Wonderwall is a great song and full credit must go to Noel Gallagher for making such a timeless contribution to popular music. Nevertheless Ryan Adams imbues the lyrics with a depth and sincerity that is somewhat absent when Liam Gallagher sings the song. It’s like Ryan Adams has brought the song to its fullest realisation and for this reason I prefer his version.

By the way Ally, Liam didn't coin the term 'Wonderwall'. It was written by Noel Gallagher for his lady at the time Meg Matthews.
I don't think Liam has the mental capacity to write anything to beautiful!;-)

Noel Gallagher apparently told Ryan Adams that he throught his version was the perfect vison of his song. I love both versions even though I absolutely hate Liam's singing voice, but I have a special place for the RA version as we used it as our wedding waltz and it brought the house down. People were crying and eveyone asked us 'who did that version?!?!'.

NO ONE can make the song better! It's perfect just the way it is. Ryan Adam messes up the main thing that made the song so special in the first place... It was NOT supposed to be a cheesy song you sing on your guitar for your girlfriend but something deeper. It could relate to something that a person would want to tell his friend or even to his enemy! Liam's neutral voice gives so much scope for multiple interpretations. And in his own words, "It's a song about an imaginary friend who's gonna come and save you from yourself." The upbeat, urban beat; the neutral voice; the unexplained lyrics- all give the listener an opportunity to connect with it in his own special, personalized way.
Ryan messed with perfection and killed the best song ever. And yea, what does Wonderwall mean? I'm sure you have your own personal understanding of that term which Liam himself coined!!
